The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:
I have so many thoughts I want to share with you about Haven and I thought I would get around to it this week! Unfortunately for you (and me), I jumped right back into work with a new client that started Monday morning.
My friend, Stephanie, shared a post this week about a screen paint craft we made last weekend – late on Friday night! I added a little ribbon to mine and have it hanging in the girls’ Coastal Themed Bedroom!
I had to make some hard decisions about my Professional Organizing business this week. The pace of this summer and a need to create better boundaries between my work life and my personal life (which is super challenging when you’re the sole employee of your business) pushed me to pull the plug on a project I was really excited about it.
As I’m typing this, we’re watching the replay of the Opening Ceremony for the Tokyo Olympics. We love the Olympics at our house. We even put red, white, and blue sprinkles on the sugar cookie bars we made tonight!
I promise to provide some new content this week! I’m doing a little challenge with some friends using Behr Colorshot Paint Markers we were gifted last weekend. I also have a few Back To School Organization posts to publish!
What The Cottage Keeper Is Loving This Week:
Need a delicious dessert to wow your friends? Try Leslie’s Picnic Peach Cobbler!
I’m hoping we can take a trip to Laurel, MS before long so this A Visit to Laurel, Mississippi has me even more intrigued! (Who’s your favorite HGTV person?)
Brian Patrick Flynn was the opening speaker at Haven. I love his style and he may have convinced me to subscribe to Discovery Plus!
Have you always wanted to try your hand at making sourdough bread from scratch? Then you should definitely check out Home on Magnolia Hill’s Sourdough Starter Kits!
Never too early to start working on your Christmas decor, is it? Check out these fun Christmas signs!
I’m super intrigued by people who use sticky notes to organize their blog and social media posts!
