Easy Menu Plan for the Week

One of the most time consuming parts of being a parent is feeding our families every single day! I hope this Easy Menu Plan page will be a good resource for you to come up with ideas for family dinners each week.

The intent of this page is to share my easy menu plan for dinners at my house each week. I will qualify this by saying that for the most part, I cook a meal every week night. We always eat Sunday lunch out, but our meals on the weekends are often dictated by sports or activity schedules.

If I don’t link to a recipe, these meals are likely really simple meals that are easy to throw together without a recipe. That’s how I roll!

Here’s what’s on the Menu Plan for this week – 4/21/2024

Sunday: Out for dinner because we ate lunch at home because Blonde Boy had to be at the school at Noon to go on a school sponsored trip.

Monday: Crockpot Crack Chicken, Couscous, Raw Veggies and Ranch Dip, Rolls, and Strawberries

Tuesday: Ham and Cheese sliders, Ham and Cheese wraps, Mac and Cheese, Raw Veggies and Ranch Dip, Broccoli Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing, and Mandarin Oranges

Wednesday: On Your Own Night! Leftovers or CFA for Harper

Thursday: Breakfast Tacos – Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Cheese and Tortillas, and Fruit

Friday: Chicken, Butternut Squash, Brussels Sprouts Sheet Pan Dinner (similar recipe), Couscous/Rice and Fruit

Saturday: Out for Jake’s B-day


Here’s what’s on the Menu Plan for this week – 4/14/2024

Sunday: Pasta with Roasted Vegetables, Easy Creamy Beef and Shells, Salad, Garlic Bread, and Fruit

Monday: Pork Loin, Texas Roadhouse Green Beans, Roasted Red Potatoes, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Sister Schubert Rolls, and fruit

Tuesday: Cafe Rio Chicken, Pearl Couscous, Tortillas, Fruit, Raw Veggies and Ranch Dip

Wednesday: Cheeseburger Sliders, Big Mac Salad, Air Fryer Fries, Raw Veggies and Fruit

Thursday: Leftover night

Friday: Track Meet – On Your Own/Concession food

Saturday: Breakfast – Biscuits, Sausage, Eggs, Fruit, Pancakes – whatever we’re in the mood for

Sunday: Chili (with Beans), Jiffy Cornbread, Fritos, and Shredded Cheese

Monday: Smash Cheeseburger Tacos, Fajita Grilled Veggies, Chips and Queso, and Fruit

Tuesday: Easy French Toast Bake, Eggs, Bacon, and Fruit; Omelettes for the Parents

Wednesday: Spaghetti, Pasta with Roasted Veggies, Salad, Garlic Bread and Fruit

Thursday: Pancakes, Biscuits, Sausage, Eggs and Fruit

Friday: White Chicken Chili, Macaroni and Cheese, Salad and Fruit

Saturday: Leftovers


Here’s what’s on the Menu Plan for this week – 3/10/2024

Sunday: Chicken Street Tacos, Chips and Queso, and Fruit

Monday: Leftover Crack Chicken, Air Fryer Vegetables (using this recipe minus the chicken since we have Crack Chicken leftover from Saturday), Couscous, Slider Rolls and Fruit

Tuesday: Crockpot BBQ Chicken, Slider Rolls, Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze, Raw Veggies with Ranch Dip, and Fruit

Wednesday: Harper’s Choice since the “Big Kids” have something at church – probably CFA

Thursday: Make Your Own Sandwiches and Salads

Friday: Cincinatti Chili, Angel Hair Pasta, Whole Wheat Pasta, Garlic Bread, Raw Veggies with Ranch Dip, and Fruit

Saturday: Out of Town Track Meet – Leftovers if we’re home for dinner

Sunday: Easy French Toast Bake, Bacon, and Fruit

Monday: Make Your Own Sandwich/Wrap/Panini, Raw Veggies and Ranch, Broccoli Bacon Salad, Chips and Fruit

Tuesday: Crockpot Crack Chicken, Couscous, Riced Cauliflower, Roasted Broccoli, Low Carb Tortillas, and Fruit

Wednesday: Burrito Bowls (Steak, Shrimp, Rice, Fajita Veggies, Pinto Beans, Shredded Cheese), Chips and Queso, and Fruit

Thursday: Easy Creamy Beef and Shells, Salad, Garlic Bread, and Fruit

Friday: Cincinatti Chili, Angel Hair Pasta, Riced Cauliflower, Raw Veggies and Ranch, and Fruit

Saturday: Leftovers or Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, and Fruit


Here’s what on the Menu Plan for this week – 2/25/2024

Sunday: Steak Fajitas or Steak Nachos

Monday: Zuppa Toscana and iceberg lettuce salads with shrimp or chicken

Tuesday: Smash Cheeseburger Tacos with chips and queso, cilantro lime rice, and fruit – sub low-carb tortillas and cilantro lime cauliflower rice for parents

Wednesday: Bacon Cheeseburger Egg Casserole, biscuits, and fruit

Thursday: (track meet night) Egg, Bacon, and/or Sausage Breakfast Burritos, tater tots and fruit

Friday: (out of town track meet) Leftovers for those at home

Saturday: Slow Cooker Country Style Ribs (I broil my ribs for a few minutes after they are finished in the crockpot to add a little bit of char), Texas Roadhouse Green Beans, Sister Schubert Rolls, and fruit
