The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:
The Wades are in divide and conquer mode this weekend. I’m at Fort Walton Beach for soccer and Jake and the rest of the kids are heading to a XC meet in North Alabama.
Fall decorating has been tossed to the bottom of my list of things I really want to do! I didn’t do any fall decorating last year. This year I got my boxes down from the attic and just haven’t been very motivated to open them!
I keep seeing these memes pointing out that there are less than 100 days left in 2021 – 88 to be exact! I’m not really sure how I feel about that. Wasn’t it just January like yesterday?
We’ve been mixing up our boring lunch box options this week. After much begging and hint dropping about the much my kids would like to have Lunchables, I decided we could make our own. I know I’m super late to the party! I even broke down and ordered these great 4 compartment reusable containers from Amazon. The girls have never had so much fun packing their lunches!
This week on the blog, I shared some great ideas for shoe storage! Be on the lookout for some posts related to kids’ clothes and toy organization; insight into how we can maintain organization in our homes; and medication storage. Lots of good stuff in the works!
What the Cottage Keeper is Loving:
A Brownie, but a cookie! Sign me up! You, too, then you need to check out this Brownie Cookie recipe!
Since it’s October and we’re pulling out all the pumpkins, what do you think of these blue and white chinoiserie pumpkins?
I love a repurposed piece of furniture and this wine and coffee bar does not disappoint!
And using an old cabinet door to create a farmhouse sign – genius!
Love how this formal living room was transformed into a library.
