Cottage Keeping

Welcome to another installment of Cottage Keeping, my weekly post where I share a little about my life, some really amazing DIY’s I’ve found this week, yummy recipes I think are worth sharing, and whatever else strikes a chord with me as I surf the ‘net. Do we still surf the ‘net or am I aging myself? Regardless, I’m glad you’re here.

The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:

Here’s something you all need to know. Today (4/24/2021) is Take Back Day. What’s Take Back Day, you ask? It’s a day set aside for safe and anonymous disposal of prescription drugs. If you have expired prescriptions or OTC medicines you need to discard, find your local Take Back Day location HERE.

Every week when I sit down to write my thoughts for the week, I realize just how boring my real life is.

Does anyone else feel like all you’ve done for the past 12 months is cook? I’m so over cooking and my clothes are starting to tell me how slack I’ve become in cooking healthy meals and eating according to the healthy living plan I’ve been on for almost a year.

My almost 12-year-old is a few days from wrapping up her second quarantine in what seems like less than a month. I really thought we’d be done with this stuff by now, but I also had no idea that our two weeks out of school last year would turn into the beginning of the longest summer break ever!

It was a productive week on the blog! I shared the beachy/coastal makeover I did in my girls’ room. I love how it all came together. I also shared a tutorial to help you put together your own School Memory Boxes for your kiddos.

What the Cottage Keeper is Loving This Week:
