Ready to update your work from home office? This work from home office design may be just what you need to help increase your productivity and enjoy your remote work days more.
Many of us have been forced to create a work from home office space this year. Though we thought this “new normal” was only a temporary fix, for many this arrangement may be semi-permanent. Anyone else seeing a shift in your workplace dynamics moving forward?
I spend more time at my desk these days than I ever have. Having a beautiful (and clutter-free) space to spend all those hours in is important to me. A few key elements are really all that is required to make a home office pretty and functional!
Layer a gorgeous desk with gold details and a plush velvet chair on a colorful rug for the foundation of an amazing work from home office space!
Every office space needs storage, of course! I prefer storage with doors or drawers because some things just need to be hidden. Open storage often leads to unintended visual clutter. Also, console tables meant for TVs and other media are great to use in an office space for storage. They’re deep enough to hold printers or craft machines like a Silhouette Cameo or a Cricut.
Even if the only space available to create a little office nook is the corner of a bedroom or the back of a closet, make the effort to create a space that enables and encourages creativity and productivity! A couple of pretty accessories or a fancy chair may be the key to your success in your work from home office space.

Oh, I love the colours you chose for your office design board. This office would definitely encourage me to get in there and work. Trouble is, I probably wouldn’t want to come out 😉

If it had a door, I’d probably just stay inside of it, too!

What a great mood board! My home office needs so much work, I don’t even work out of it!

Ha! I love having a dedicated space to work or else I’d sit in front of the TV and pretend to work! 🙂
