Cottage Keeping #23

Happy Saturday morning, y’all and welcome to this week’s edition of Cottage Keeping!

Cottage Keeping is my weekly update where I share some personal updates, some of my favorite products I’ve used this week, and also some of my favorite blog posts from my friends around the web!

The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:

It’s move-in week in Auburn, AL. That means the median age for residents of the city drops significantly, the amount of alcohol purchased in town increases significantly and there’s a chance I may get to see my friends from out of town whose children go to Auburn!

I’ve been listening to the podcast, The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill, during my long drives the last few weeks. More than anything, it’s been an interesting look into church culture and the power we give people.

In the spring, I splurged and bought myself a P-Touch Cube Plus label maker. If you’re a label nerd and love the look of a wide label with large font, get you one! It came in handy labeling Harper’s school supplies today!

In my FB group, we’re talking a lot about organizing closets this month. To help you find things I love in my own closet, I’ve added some of my favorite organization products to my shop page!

white background with yellow accents on corner. blue font says opening up your closet should be like arriving at a good party where everyone you see is someone you like.

This week on the blog, I shared all my favorite hacks for having chaos-free school day mornings. Coming up, I’m going to share some personal thoughts on the work I do as a professional organizer. I also need to share how I made the outdoor curtains on my back patio! Stay tuned!

Did you know that I also contribute to the Auburn-Opelika Moms Blog? My first post went live last week. Go check out my real-life look at being the Worst Mom Trophy Winner!
