The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:

Any week starting with a holiday on Monday is always an odd week, isn’t it? I’ve felt really uninspired to do much of anything for most of the week. Two of my kids spent the week at youth camp on the beach. One started his first part-time job. The other bought herself a new game for her Nintendo Switch to keep herself occupied.

Let’s talk bathing suits! Notice I said talk. There’ll be no bathing suit modeling by me – ever! We have a beach trip planned in a few weeks and I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time scrolling, looking for THE bathing suit. I’ve ordered some and sent some back. I bought this bathing suit top at Walmart tonight. I haven’t tried it on yet, but hope it will work with some bottoms that I already have.

We’re so close to the end of the One Room Challenge (ORC)! Our weekend task will be building and painting our couches. I’ll tell you all about how that’s going in my ORC post later today or tomorrow morning. Needless to say, it’s not gone quite how we envisioned. You can get caught up on my Game Day Porch Makeover by starting with my week 1 post.

A few weeks ago, I used these StorageWorks bins in a client’s closet and I can’t stop thinking about all the other ways I could use them. The color is a perfectly neutral gray and they come in all different shapes and sizes. They’re so pretty on the shelves of a closet!

About the only thing I have really accomplished this week is adding the Shop page to the website. I’ll keep updating it with my favorite organizing and home decor products as I get them tagged and arranged.
