The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:
Today, we remember and honor the lives of the nearly 3,000 who lost their lives while going about their daily routine on 9/11/2001. My friend Lauren, penned these thoughtful words about her experience on 9/11 and how it has stirred a sense of gratitude within her.
My plan is to spend this weekend sprinkling some fall around our house. Last year I didn’t even open the fall decor bins because we had recently moved and I was more focused on just getting the house unpacked and settled than pulling bins of decor out of the attic. Is your house decorated for fall?
I need to replace my favorite black ballet flats. I wanted to try something a little different, though. So this week, I ordered some Rothy knock-offs from Amazon. I think I’m going to like them. They’re really cute, but I do wish they came in 1/2 sizes.
The waiting continues…The limbo game continues, as well. There are some pretty significant changes that could be taking place in my life. Until I get word one way or the other, lots of areas of my life are just sort of on pause. Hopefully, I’ll have better information this week and can share a less cryptic message with you all.
This week on the blog, I shared how I created these Large Wall Calendars to help me stay on track with my content planning for all of my digital spaces. Coming up this week, I’ll be talking about preparations I’m taking to keep from bringing unnecessary clutter into our new house. I’m also working on a post with medicine organization tips and some seasonal decor things!
