The Cottage Keeper’s Thoughts:
It’s time to do a little updating to the website! I’m going to spend some time this weekend tweaking and updating a few things so if you see some glitchy, weird things happening, that’s likely why! I hope that we all enjoy the new layout and changes.
Anyone ready for cooler weather? I’m ready to decorate for Christmas and incorporate this Delicate Snowflake Winter Desk Art into my decor! Isn’t it pretty? What’s even better is True Stock Studios gave me a coupon code for you to use on their site. Just enter Yellow Cottage Living at checkout for 25% off sitewide! Go check out all their amazing wood decor pieces.
The kids survived their first week of school. I think it’s going to be a good year for my babies! Bailey has driven himself to school and navigated dropping Maverick off at the Junior High without any issues. Praise the Lord!
We were supposed to close on our TX house yesterday. Unfortunately, there was some issue with the appraisal being submitted in a timely manner so now we’re scheduled to close on Tuesday. Definitely bittersweet to sell that house since it’s where I did some of my very first and undocumented DIYs and really fell in love with design and decorating.
This week on the blog, I offered a few thoughts on how we can make the most of the days our kids are in school. You may also enjoy my other back-to-school posts for my DIY Back to School Wreath and how you can have stress-free school day mornings! Coming up, I’ll finally tell you all about the easy and budget-friendly curtains I hung on my back porch!
